The palm oil industry in Guatemala is one of the main drivers of the country's economic development, representing 1.2% of the gross domestic product and contributes to boosting the economy and commerce through job creation. Our operations generate more than 40 thousand direct jobs and more than 156 thousand indirect jobs. In 1987 we began the cultivation of oil palm in the country, being pioneers in this industry. Currently, we are leaders in the cultivation and production of sustainable palm oil in Latin America, we export our production to Europe and Latin America.
